Founded in 1991, Tower Insulating Glass LLC of North Bellmore, NY is one of the largest fabricators, distributors, and consultants of glass and glass-related products in the Tri-State area, and one of the nation's leaders in high-quality, customized specialty glass. The Vitro Certified Network
Vitro Approved Residential Fabricators are the exclusive source of Vitro Architectural Glass (formerly PPG glass) high-performance Solarban® glass products. With the certification, Tower is able to accommodate special shape and configuration requests. Count on us to deliver quality fabricated glass with outstanding service and quick turnaround times, critical when lead times are tight.
Pilkington Glass Certification
A Pilkington glass certification from companies like Pilkington North America Inc. or NSG Group, demonstrates adherence to quality management systems (ISO 9001), environmental management systems (ISO 14001), and conformity with standards related to glass safety, performance, and environmental impact.
Guardian Authorized Manufacturer
We are certified by Guardian Glass, a major glass manufacturer, to fabricate and process their glass products. We meet specific quality standards and are authorized to use the Guardian brand name when selling the finished glass products and have been vetted and approved to work with Guardian glass for projects requiring specialized fabrication.
Certified fabricators meet Guardian's strict quality standards for cutting, tempering, laminating, and insulating glass units using Guardian glass.
The Insulating Glass Certification Council
The IGCC is a non-profit organization jointly established in 1977 by manufacturers, consumers, specifiers, and others concerned with the quality and performance of insulating glass units. IGCC sponsors and directs an independent, true third-party certification program.
They perform periodic accelerated laboratory tests per American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) specifications and unannounced plant quality audits and inspections to assure the quality of sealed insulating glass products.
Insulating Glass Manufacturers Alliance
IGMA is an international standards development organization for the insulating glass industry. It is a non-profit trade association representing the interests of the Insulating Glass industry not only in North America but worldwide.
IGMA develops new technologies in the manufacturing of insulating glass units supported by new research, best practices and the development of codes and standards.
